How Angelinvest Works
A simple, transparent process for startups, investors, and co-founders to discover, connect, and build together.
Angelinvest works in four steps. You create an account as a startup, an angel investor or a co-founder; you complete a profile with the details the other side needs to judge fit — stage, industry, geography, round size or ticket size; our team reviews and approves the profile before it appears anywhere; and you then browse matches and send connection requests. A connection opens direct messaging, so conversations happen on the platform rather than through cold outreach. Free accounts hold three active connections at a time on a rolling basis, and removing one frees a slot immediately. Angelinvest never takes commission or carry on an investment — the platform earns from subscriptions only.

Questions founders and investors ask before signing up
How do startups get started on Angelinvest?
- Founders create an account, complete a startup profile with their round details, and submit it for review. Once approved, the profile becomes visible to investors and the startup can send and receive connection requests.
How are startups and investors matched?
- Matching uses each side's stated criteria — stage, industry, geography and ticket size — to surface relevant profiles. Investors can also save searches that alert them when a new matching startup is approved.
Do profiles get reviewed before they go live?
- Yes. Every startup and investor profile is manually reviewed before it becomes visible in discovery, so members only ever see approved, complete profiles.
How many connections can I have?
- Free accounts hold three active connections at a time. Connections are rolling: removing one frees the slot for a new one. Paid plans raise the limit, and Pro plans remove it.
Can I find a co-founder here as well?
- Yes. Startups can publish a co-founder role, and people looking to join a company early can create a co-founder profile and apply directly to open roles.
